Do you feel like nothing works for your Rosacea? Have you tried all the creams and still haven't
found an answer? If so, call Southern Oregon Laser Center. We're experts at eliminating Rosacea using cosmetic lasers.
Rosacea is a difficult condition because there are so many outside influences such as alcohol, spicy foods
and sun that can trigger a reaction. At Southern Oregon Laser Center, we treat Rosacea at the root using state-of-the-art laser
technology to safely and effectively eliminate the superficial vessels that cause redness. During treatment,
the laser's energy is absorbed by the hemoglobin in blood, causing the tiny vessels that create the redness
to close. Abnormal blood vessels are then absorbed into the body allowing your skin's natural color and
tone to show through.
Southern Oregon Laser Center knowledgeable and courteous medical staff are available to answer all your questions and will help
you select the best treatment option. Contact us now or come to our conveniently located office for a free
consultation. Don't wait! You don't have to hide behind heavy makeup anymore. Come to Southern Oregon Laser Center and let your
natural skin tones shine though!
What is Rosacea?
Rosacea (roh-ZAY-sha) is a common condition affecting over 13 million Americans. Though common, there is
muted awareness among the general population, with 78 percent of Americans having no knowledge of it. As
the baby boomer population ages, the number of Americans has been steadily increasing, and because there
is no simple cure for the condition, it has become a burdensome aesthetic and emotional issue for those that have it.
According to the National Rosacea Society, nearly 70 percent of Rosacea patients said this condition had
lowered their self-confidence and self-esteem, and 41 percent reported it had caused them to avoid public
contact or cancel social engagements. In addition, in Rosacea patients with severe symptoms, nearly 70
percent said the disorder had adversely affected their professional interactions, and nearly 30 percent
said they had even missed work because of their condition.
There is no cure for Rosacea, but there are ways to control the signs and symptoms of the skin disorder.
Let Southern Oregon Laser Center help you treat Rosacea.
Causes of Rosacea
According to the National Rosacea Foundation, the exact cause of Rosacea is still largely unknown, however
the symptoms are reasonably well understood as are a variety of lifestyle factors that are known to trigger
outbreaks in people that have the disease. Lifestyle factors that can affect Rosacea breakouts include sun
exposure, spicy foods or drink, abrasive or harsh skin creams and treatments, and tobacco products.
